Hello everyone;

I use Open Cdisc to validate my SDTM. My files are in SAS XPORT format (E.g: DM.XPORT). I tried many times to validate it with Open CDISC and received this error message "Invalide Source Format".

Any suggestions for me?

Thanks in advance!

Is this SAS Transport 5 (.xpt)? You might have the wrong SAS transport version.

Hi Mamadou,

What application are you using to create SAS datasets? If it’s SAS, then what is your code?

As Jozef said, in your example “DM.XPORT” a file extension looks invalid. Note, that SAS has several different transporting formats. You need to use PROC COPY or libname option XPORT to create files in SAS XPORT v5 format.

Kind Regards,

Sergiy
