Hi,
The rule in question actually already verifies that both fields are not null before performing the comparison. If you're running into a situation where this seems to not be the case, there's either an issue with the data or with the Validator itself that we'll need to look into.

Hello,
This error is generated when the --STDTC variable has a value and the --ENDTC variable is null. That seems too restrictive. In real-world data there will be some unknown, unobtainable dates.
