The message "EGSTRESC value not found in 'ECG Result' extensible codelist" needs to be refined so that it does not appear in the many instances when EGSTRESC is numeric.

Forums: Validation Rule Suggestions

The tool warns that a SEND expected variable is not found, and points to USUBJID.  The rule should include a check for POOLID, and if it exists (along with a POOLDEF file), then the warning should not occur.  This is for SUPPFW.

Hi Debra,

Please consider this as a bug.  A practical usage of "ECG Result" terminology is questionable and may be not applicable for data validation.

Kind Regards,

Sergiy

USUBJID is Expected variable in SUPPxx per SEND IG.

Therefore according to the standard, you need to populate "blank" USUBJID variable in SUPPFW domain in addition to POOLID.  You can find an example for SUPPFW dataset in SEND IG v3 on page 85.

Kind Regards,

Sergiy
