When I start OpenCDISC Community 2.0.1, I'm getting a pink banner across the top of the window with a red message saying "Could not establish a connection".  I've seen that mentioned on another thread here, but that was a Citrix-related question.  I'm running on Windows 7 and I'm seeing the message on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows.

Does anyone know what the problem might be? Or any information I could add that might be helpful to figuring it out?

Thanks!

Hi Dave,

Most likely you did not have an Internet connection or your Firewall blocks an OpenCDISC application.

Kind Regards,

Hi,

In P21 Community 2.2.0, internet connection is used only for "Recent Updates" messages like availability of new versions of P21C or CT. It does not have any actual impact to functionality of Validator or Define.xml tools. So, now for P21 Community 2.2.0 and previous versions you can ignore this warning.

Thanks,

Sergiy
