Hello, I am ketan and studying Master of Science in Computer science at Lamar University Texas, USA. I am very enthusiastic to contribute in to the Pinnacle Community, and for that i am working on source code of the application since last  1 months.

I Downloaded Pinnacle21 Community Source code from the  https://bitbucket.org/opencdisc/  and imported it in to the Eclipse, but I got below Error:

Project build error: Non-resolvable parent POM for org.opencdisc:define-generator:0-LOCAL-SNAPSHOT: Failure to find net.pinnacle21.ops:base:pom:1.0.0 in https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2 was cached in the local repository, resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of central has elapsed or updates are forced and 'parent.relativePath' points at wrong local POM.

I tried everything and after vigorous  search I see that in the project clinicaltrials-miner pom.xml file they gave following link: https://pinnacle21.artifactoryonline.com/pinnacle21/libs-releases-local  for the pinnacle-deploy But, it's need username and password. So, someone please help me how I can get the user name and password for it.? It will be a great help for me if someone getback to me.

Thanks

Tim, once we deploy the latest source code, will we remove the dependency on artifactory and place eveything in bitbucket that is needed ?  Or maybe we can just email the pom.xml required ?

Hello Keton,

About a year ago I did spend some time with the 2.0.1 version, attempting to build and deploy it from the original source code.  My company requires a source code review before it allows productive use of open source software.

I reached exactly the same point as you: indeed some part appears to be stored on a password protected repository, without any explanation on how to obtain these files.

My understanding is that we are supposed to deal with open source code, so this seems a rather unusual situation...I hope it will get resolved or clarified by the development team....

Additionally, there seems to be a structural delay in posting the source code. The team has released 2.2.0 to production, while the Git repository is lagging behind several releases at 2.1.1...similar situation.

Anyway - sorry I cannot help you with this - but I do hope we get a response from the development team!
