Hi Agnieszka,

Have you moved any Community folders after the installation?

It looks like the app cannot find the user's Documents folder. It uses {SystemDrive}:\Users\{UserName}\Documents\Pinnacle 21 Community\ path to store configs, dictionaries, reports and log files.

Thanks,

Philipp

Hi Philipp,

Thanks.

I uninstalled Pinnacle and installed it again and I keep getting the same error. Shouldn't all the files be placed in proper folders during the installation?

Agnieszka

Hi Agnieszka,

Do you have C:\Users\{UserName}\Documents\Pinnacle 21 Community\  path accessible in your machine?

It looks like your system might not have Documents folder in C drive, or use some network drive instead.

Community might fail to install in such cases. We are going to bring customizable installation paths for all Community folders in the future 3.1.0 update. This should help with your setup.

Until that update comes out, the only workaround I can suggest is using Community CLI.

It's usually accessible at C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Local\Programs\pinnacle21-community\resources\app.asar.unpacked\components\lib

If the CLI file wasn't extracted by Installer before the crash, you can get it from our support. Please contact community@pinnacle21.com

Here is an article describing how to use CLI:

Thanks,

Philipp
