I am having trouble validating TSVAL where TSPARMCD = PCLAS.  The pharmacologic class is "[BL116] ANTIHEMORRHAGICS" and the associated code is "N0000029112".  Both of these values receive an "ERROR" rating under SDTM 3.1.2.

I looked at your reference table for NDF-RT and it appears to be missing this record.  Could you give me some advice.  Should I add the records from the list (ftp://ftp1.nci.nih.gov/pub/cacore/EVS/NDF-RT/NDF-RT.txt) on NCI website?

Thanks for your help.

There is an excellent RESTful web service available by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) for validating NDF-RT codes. See: https://rxnav.nlm.nih.gov/NdfrtAPIREST.html
It would be great if the validator would implement this web service, so that one always has the latest codes available and is not dependent anymore of a (maybe outdated) file.

Client confidence is impacted by the bottom line.  If something indicates "Error" then it is always taken seriously, regardless of its true magnitude.

This issue resolves as a condition labeled "Error" and is very difficult to argue away.

Hi John,

I completely agree. That is EXACTLY why we need these webservices implemented.
- the database of the NLM is the truth
- it is always up to date
- the service avoids needing to "wait for the next release"
Pinnacle21, can you please implement these webservices?
